Yep I do intend to develop a real-time feature in several of my apps. I am about to release a massive Tube Deluxe update and somewhat getting my app-product lines in order.

Another person late to the party but..

I would second the sentiments of Rob regarding brand loyalty. So useful is your London Travel Deluxe app that it is the ONLY reason I am not switching away from the iPhone.

I have always liked the iPhone but I get fidgety and after a couple of years I fancy a change. I was very close to getting a Samsung Galaxy Note to have fun with for a couple of years when I thought I would just check whether I could get your app on Android..

..nope. But maybe I could get something equally as good..

..nope. Perhaps something half as good?

..nope!

There is definitely a huge market for your app on Android. Is it worth your time and effort? Well, only you can decide that one but do let us know if ever that time comes!

Hi Malcolm. I have been using your London Deluxe app for quite a while now and find it excellent and total value for money. However I was wondering if you were considering adding up to the minute bus time info to the app. This would truly place it miles above all the others. I have tried one or two alternatives but none of them work as they should, but I think you obviously think in a logical way and might be the first to be able to implement this in a truly intuitive and informative interface, alongside all your route planning info.

Please let me know if this is something you are working on or would consider working on. I even think you could add it as an in app purchase and people would pay extra for the feature.

Hi Malcolm – thanks for such a great app. I use it several times a week as I move around London, and recommend it as a good investment to all acquaintances who are visiting the Smoke for even a day.

A question though: now that TfL have made the bus arrivals information available on an individual bus-stop basis, will you be incorporating that into the app? Hope so!

New iOS 5 compatible version is with Apple for approval now, with any luck should be out mid-late next week.

Well, four months later, iOS 5 is no longer a beta, and your app still doesn’t work…

TFL’s countdown page uses ajax calls, so I’ve whacked a little front end up for it (completely unofficial and unsupported, of course..) http://rposbo.apphb.com

Indeed, taking a very close look at this & seeing if technically feasible. Unfortunately TfL have no official API for this that I’m aware of, but there are other ways.
