I am sure there are going to be many useful applications released over the coming months for the iPhone. I have written an up to the minute line status application for the London Underground network.
I hope to work with Transport for London and release it for free (no adware or annoying anything) on the iTunes application store.
In the meantime here’s a video demo of TubeStatus 1.0 running in the simulator and some screen shots. All feedback welcome!

TubeStatus uses an xml feed based on a php script by Alistair Priest. My changes to these scripts can be downloaded below:
